How Many Seasons are played in a year?

HSA currently has 2 seasons per year for 5 vs 5 Flag Football. 1 season is a minor seasons in which we emphasize development, 1 season will be a "tune-up in which players will use this to get back into football shape. HSA also has a 8 vs 8 season that will run from September till December. Blocking is allowed in 8 vs 8 flag football.

Spring Season(Minor Season) which usually starts in March and will finish in May. This season, teams usually focus on basics and development. Many of our players will be in rest mode at this time so the league will have a little less teams and some of the more advance players will be on break. This is a good opportunity to get the player with little or no experience to come out and play.

Summer Season("Major" Season) which usually starts in June and will finish in August. This season, the league will be in full swing. This season is usually the most exciting and filled with the most events, clinics and training sessions. We will have opening day ceremony's, punt, pass and kick events, NFL players stopping by and a whole lot more. During this season many of our skilled players will be back in the league and using this as a "Tune-Up" for tackle. During this season teams will be more competitive.
